From Fire Chief Brandon Duckworth:
Welcome to the Official Webpage of the Jasper Fire Department
Serving as Fire Chief for the Jasper Fire Department is both a professional responsibility and a personal honor. I began my fire service career here in Jasper, and this department has shaped who I am as a firefighter and as a leader. To now serve in this role, leading the men and women who protect this community, is something I do not take lightly.
Our responsibility is simple in purpose but significant in impact: we are here to protect lives, safeguard property, and care for our community when people need us most. Whether responding to fires, medical emergencies, hazardous situations, or disasters, our team is committed to professionalism, compassion, and preparedness.
The Jasper Fire Department provides fire suppression, advanced emergency medical services, technical rescue services, wildfire response, fire prevention, emergency management, and public education. We make it a point to help our neighbors in ESD#4 consisting of East End, Beech Grove, Lake Rayburn, Angelina and Tri-Community. While many people see us when we arrive during an emergency, much of our work happens behind the scenes—training, planning, reducing risk, and strengthening preparedness across the city. Most of which takes place at the Charles E. Gee Memorial Training Facility.
Our mission is rooted in service. Our core values—Respect, Integrity, Courage, and Honor—guide how we treat our citizens and how we treat one another. Every call we answer and every interaction we have is an opportunity to demonstrate those values. It is a privilege to continue serving this city alongside a dedicated team of professionals who care deeply about the people we protect. We remain focused on continuous improvement, innovation, and ensuring that our community receives the highest level of service today and into the future.
